Hello, I am by Isaiah and I am blind, I don’t know how to edit instruments, so would you be able to add a feature to play the instruments, especially the drums

This is a good music maker, but I just wish I could get the other instruments for free instead of a subscription, they all sound great! Luckily there is a way for your free instruments to sound different using the thingy but I still can’t put the right sound to my music without the subscription… I would like you to add more free instruments or make all the instruments free like GarageBand. Thank you! Edit: The new update made it so hard to edit the music loop :( I’m removing a star for this because it made things more complicated. Can you please revert this update? Edit 2: Oh wait never mind i can still edit :/ Sorry!!! 😅 Edit 3: I have another idea, maybe add undo and redo buttons?
Hello everyone I hope as always everyone is doing well. I was compelled to share my thoughts with you about this app. Auxy, is absolutely amazing it has an awesome user interface that makes it simple to work with, and, without sacrificing functionality. As far as the actual sound generated by the amazing virtual instruments they are superb. Excellent at handling any impromptu situation. I, recommend, getting the free trial, and, letting yourself appreciate the hard work that Auxy has done for us all!
So much fun, and easy to use. Love it!
you removed some of the editable colors like salmon and lime in the new update, good daw tho i think there were like 12 or 15 now theres 8
Don’t ask why I put the letter E as the title of this I didn’t know what to call this but I really enjoy this app and I just made my first song and it sounds pretty good I will be uploading it to YouTube later W app
good

I don’t know if I already made this review but my dad deleted this app because he thought it was spam. Now all of my favorite beats I made were deleted and I can’t bring them back. So can you add a feature that lets us create like, an account or guest account or something that lets us save our songs or something?
You have to pay to use it, and there is no tutorial whatsoever. Useless unless you happen to have a bunch of money to waste on their overpriced subscription
I love this sooo much its just a little short on options like more ceative sounds will do! I love how we can fill feee to do whatever but premium.. it’s cheap, unnoticeable, and fine! Use Auxy studio for fun and lovely music!!!
Update: This app is still seemingly dead! Auxy is and will always be a good app. However, at this point, I’m a bit fed up with the way you’ve been handling your app. There has not been any new sound packs since 2023, and no actual new features since version 6.6 in June 2021. Changing the edit button’s placement and adding a “stop” button (akin to Ableton note) is a bad move, and definitely nothing that’s gonna make longtime users happy or help new users pull the trigger on the subscription. Also, its feature set is starting to become lackluster for music production in 2025. We need some more sound packs, possibly with presets that are more relevant to today’s subgenres. We have lots of 80’s new wave sounds and 2010’s-era EDM sounds, but nothing from the current era. If you want to continue releasing retro sounds, I’d suggest at least moving onto the 90s or 2000s. Heck, you could even add back the 2014 Auxy sounds and I’d be happy. If not that, bring back the disco so people can share their custom presets. That helped revitalize this app during 2022, which was otherwise a pretty bad year for Auxy. It also seems that the instrument engine of Auxy is basically a multisampler; it would be nice if you let us access this instrument and load our own samples. I know the melodic sampler exists, but that’s limited to a single sample (similar to Logic’s Quick Sampler or Ableton Live’s Simpler). Also, I cannot believe that this app still has no way to record audio! That’s basically a must-have for any DAW or other music production app in 2025. I know Auxy is technically meant to be a place to put ideas down for later and then export it to a fully-fledged DAW to finish, but still. Sure, the workaround of recording audio in GarageBand and then importing it into an empty drum kit exists, but if you’re using another app to record audio, you may as well just use that program, especially with the current state of Auxy. This next feature is not absolutely necessary, but it would be nice to be able to use Audio Units. The wider range of instruments would be extremely helpful, especially considering the lack of new sounds from Auxy. Plus, having the option to use AU effects would also be good. While I don’t use audio effect plug-ins, lots of DAW users do. Also, Auxy Jam is available on macOS, so why isn’t Auxy Studio? It seems they have similar Xcode, so it should be pretty doable. (It’s not like you guys are doing anything else; you said it yourself that there would NEVER be an Auxy 7.) Oh wait, there IS an Auxy 7.0: it was the version after 6.9.9. New users, do not pay for this app right now. I’m stuck in a subscription because I have so many legacy projects I have to deal with, and I would otherwise cancel the subscription immediately. If this is Auxy’s business model, that’s a terrible one! Try using Medly or GarageBand instead; the former has a free tier, as well as a subscription for truckloads of additional instruments. The latter is completely free, and surprisingly capable. With these two apps being the major players nowadays, Auxy is currently stuck in a state of limbo until the developers can do something meaningful with this app.
This app is absolute but the repetitive instruments are actually draining. We need something new instead of a new app layout, it took me a minute to get used to but I can finally see that the update isn’t bad it’s the same old new ones. We need new instruments that’s all, like electric guitar, new classic guitar, some softer leads, I mean stuff to make trendy beats without having to do extra tuning to the instruments we already have. | To sum it up we need a lot of new instruments beneath melody category | Come on Auxy I know you can do it
This app is cool. I recommend it to new music makers because it's simple design helps with people like me, who find that complicated things just don't work. Anyway, enjoy the app to whoever is reading this. :D Would like to be able to increase tempo automatically in parts of the song though.
Love the app, love the name😉 but, I think it should be teach you the basics of music and how to compose good songs/music. Also, almost EVERYTHING is limited to the pass which, costs money (I can’t spend money☹️)so, PLS, PLS,PLS, fix this!!!!!!😭THANKS!
There isnt a clear option for breakbeat stuff and alot of the options for sounds are Great although plain and similar, Still great music app tho, Would recommend.
this is an a amazing precursor for any “real” daw 10/10
The free trial I can’t do because my dads would let me so get rid of it plz I’m so mad of it😠
Horrible. Everything is locked behind a pay wall.
Pebble, bold steel and authority are so useful for music, those are in my top 3 of instruments, this is the best music app I’ve EVER been on!! Easily 5 stars.
Hi this is me again please listen to us who HATE the subscription and get rid of it or make us have more instruments instead of like 7 if you had children and they got a game then that had to pay monthly subscription would you be happy to pay
Great app! Way better than any desktop application. But, we need some more stuff still. Right now, we’re limited to 4/4 time and there’s no way to automate tempo, which is a bummer. These limit so many songs that I could remix because 4/4 is all Auxy supports. I know it might mess up the sound system to change these things but there’s almost nothing else wrong with it. These changes would be much appreciated! Like really appreciated!
I love this app and have made a few songs with it. I think it would be cool if there were tutorials/guides for composing music as sometimes my songs sound over developed with way too many parts and it would be nice if there was something in the app that could kind of teach the user something about composing music with the app.
Would it possible to import midi files
Honestly before the update that changed how the menus worked the platform was basically perfect Now the menus are really just confusing since clicking a loop no longer toggles whether it plays Also changing the colors was completely unnecessary and the old ones were definitely better Honestly just make everything updated recently toggle-able or something along those lines and I’d be fine
I love Auxy. It’s fun, sounds great but there’s one slight problem: the amount of free instruments! I’m a kid and as a kid I can’t really pay for stuff like the monthly payment. So the fact that I’m stuck with NINE instruments is kinda annoying. Please add more free instruments 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
It did not take me that long to figure out what to do and once I did, I immediately started making cool and sick beats. the only problem is that for all the rest of the sounds but it still a very good game.
I absolutely love Auxy and I am actively pursuing my music career with it as a starting ground. It’s a very versatile DAW that can do quite a lot but I still feel like there’s more that can be done. Comments on the latest update: I am ok with the new system, it’s not really something I find easy but it’s something I can live with for now. I prefer the ability to click and hold the tiles and click edit as an option instead of what the new update brings. But like what was said in the message on the app’s start up. I do dislike the new feature that disables loops when you tap an empty box on the side. I prefer the old method, it was more fluid and more intuitive. Suggested improvements: More in depth automation. I understand that it is already in depth but I would prefer if it was even more so for a few reasons. I’ll give an example, you aren’t able to do distortion automation in a complex way, it’s only simple. Now there’s nothing wrong with that, it does get the job done but what I mean is automating the actual settings of the distortion or any other effects. This will give more opportunities for more complex music and would further Auxy’s capabilities by a long shot. If it’s also possible in the future. Perhaps a windows/macOs port for auxy. (Pc version that has added capabilities. I suggest for this you charge a one time fee for the pc variant rather than a subscription based system. That means you can charge more and honestly, I’d pay $40 easy for the base version for the software. That is how good it is. Final thoughts: nonetheless it’s still a great software. Very versatile, sounds are really good, the ability to import your own samples is great. I’m looking forward to seeing where this platform goes!
This app has amazing sounds for possible 8 bit tracks or anything you really want.I only have 1 criticism it is that you cannot decide how long the scenes are. This is not a deal breaker for me due to how overly good the music and sounds are.
I’ve been a loyal subscriber and daily user since the way-back. I can’t go above 3 stars right now. Please stop fiddling with the UI. Give us good MIDI support. And more new features. More new sounds. And drum kits. Please.
This app is AMAZING but I think it needs a little update, which is to add voices to the songs we’re making. How does that sound?
I am an eleven year old boy and this game is almost limitless when it comes to the sounds and I’ve been playing since I was nine, again, this app is possibly the most fun, creative music making app I’ve ever had. You should try it!! :)
OK, first of all I wanna say I’m an aspiring artist who likes to make their own beats. And as someone who’s always on the move, Auxy has literally been the reason I’ve actually taken a music career seriously I just wanted to leave a comment to say that hands-down literally cannot live without this app and also what the heck they just dropping an update out of nowhere after like two years of just nothing but awesome thank you keep the app running and I’ll keep paying
I’ve loved this app for years, I’ve made a lot of songs and have many other songs in the works up here. I noticed the “edit” button has been COMPLETELY REMOVED! That is one of the biggest features of any music app; being able to go back and fix the sample. I hope y'all can put that back and fix it because it’s annoying trying to figure out the entire beat and not being able to adjust it in any way.
Dear Auxy Team, From the bottom of my heart, I want to express my deepest gratitude for what you have created. Your app has truly brought my dream to life as a producer. While I lack formal music theory knowledge and have struggled with larger, more complex programs, Auxy has given me the ability to bring the melodies and ideas in my head into reality. I started using your app back in 2016, and its fun, colorful, and intuitive design allowed me to explore and develop my creativity in ways I never thought possible. Over the years, through your platform, I’ve been able to refine my sound, mastering a clean, technical, and crisp production style that I am incredibly proud of today. I cannot thank you enough for the impact your work has had on my journey. Your app is truly invaluable to me, and I would love to know how I can support you in any way. I genuinely want to see Auxy continue to grow and remain available to creators around the world for years to come. If there is any way to contribute or ensure the longevity of this incredible platform, please let me know. Additionally, I truly believe that a desktop version of Auxy would be a game-changer, elevating the platform to new heights and making an even greater impact on the music production world. Once again, I am a dedicated and lifelong supporter of Auxy. Your work is deeply appreciated, and I wish you all continued success. Thank you for everything you’ve done for my life! With sincere appreciation, Osic
2 days ago, I’ve come across an update, when opening up a new project, inserting an instrument, I want to edit it right? Like I usually would while holding down, well not today, because apparently to edit is to double click a pattern/looproll, and now a new dumb useless stop button usually where you can add a pattern, which first, you literally can just pause/play stuff with the bottom button, I see what they’re trying to do, but these parts of the updates are not really necessary, also the alignment on things are screwed up…. BUT?! (But what?,) the pumped up colors, the improved quality of the instrument, really nice touch, but not a fan of this new instrument style system when editing, and tbh I liked it before, please remove this, it’s not needed, other stuff are kinda cool I guess, but I LOVE AUXY! just coming across, 9th year using it too. -SoundCloud boh~
Great app, have been using it for almost 8 years now! With it, I have made so much music that has really evolved over the years and learned a lot about production in general. This app is great and all but it could be a lot better if you could implement a feature where you can change the pitch and the tempo of samples independently, without affecting one another. I am tired of constantly having to figure out the BPM’s for every sample and tweak them outside of this app so I would greatly appreciate if this feature was implemented. I could suggest more improvements along the way but this one is very much preferred.
Just closed Auxy, reopened the app, and found out that the “edit loop” button has been replaced by a new“label” button. I now cannot edit the loops in my songs, I guess. Ended up redownloading the app, and now I lost all my songs too. Please, fix this. The last version was superior.
ive been using this for about as long as i got serious about music and it is insane. ive been able to create amazing songs even without premium. thank you, auxy im back a few minutes later about reading bad reviews and seeing that most of them are about the subscription and limited sounds. people need to realize that apps cant be fully free otherwise the developer will go bankrupt. anyways i just wanted to add more. Cheers!
pls make more sounds👨
This app is truly the music maker I’ve always loved to use! The instruments and effects in here are so nice! Keep up the good work!
7 years ago i knew absolutely nothing about music creation. i had never touched any instrument or software. but i’ve always loved music. so one day i decided to go on the app store and i downloaded a bunch of music making apps on my phone and started playing around with them. many music apps have been downloaded and deleted on my phone but auxy is the only app that has stayed since the beginning of my musical journey. i learned most of what i know about music production because of auxy. i’ve created hundreds of projects on auxy. at this point auxy feels like my old friend. anyways thats my journal entry for nostalgia’s sake. now i’ll give my very honest review: what i love: i truly do believe auxy is an incredibly easy app to use and a wonderful tool. although seemingly simple, there is a lot of sound design that can be done with the preset synths and drums (the app even allows for sidechain compression). on top of that, the ability to download samples (i often directly send samples into auxy from the splice app on my phone) makes the possibilities of music production truly endless. this combined with the intuitive layout of the app and easy exporting makes it really fun to use. oh and ofcourse best of all is the app runs flawlessly with no bugs, no crashes. what i wish: when i downloaded this app i felt like there would be possibility of community. there were interviews on youtube of artists who would make soundpacks for auxy. new demo projects would be shared frequently and new soundpacks that users could buy were added often (the ability to purchase soundpacks is no longer an option as auxy follows a subscription model). overall, it really felt like there was a lot of drive to build auxy into not just a mobile daw but a community. i do understand that times change, people grow and priorities shift, but i wish this app continued to evolve as i saw so much potential and had so much hope and excitement for it. but it didn’t. new soundpacks stopped coming out, and i feel the community kind of died off. i am not sure if paying for the subscription is justified for me personally anymore. despite that i will say i love auxy and i am so thankful that 7 years ago when there were no good mobile daws there was auxy and if it weren’t for this app i might have never been able to really dive into music production. i’m happy that i’ve been able to subscribe and support the devs for such a long time. i just feel like there was so much opportunity with it that was missed. to the devs: if you guys want i will help bring auxy up to what i (and probably any other long time users) dream of.
Switching the instrument of an actively playing loop causes the audio to abruptly stop. Issue only resolves when you switch an instrument for another while no loops are playing. This is a major bug that prevents you from trying different instruments from the library sound pack while actively listening to your track.
I’ve taken a long time to write a review about “Auxy” but ever since I somehow stumbled upon it in 2016, and seen how this app has advanced and grown since then, this is my absolute favorite app or “DAW” to make music on! I also have FL Studio but much prefer this app. You can really get the ideas from your head and translate them here. I actually produced my first official track and published it on all streaming platforms back in December of 2020! “INTEIISA” which took 6 months to completely finish and get out of the phase of trying to make every little detail perfect. The only thing I wish we could do in this app is automate things like distortion settings not just the base distortion level, that’s just an example. If we could automate all the modulations in each sound or “FX” rather then just tweak the setting for each sound or “FX” and only be able to automate the base level of that sound or “FX” this would be 100% an official or maybe even a professional “DAW” and it wouldn’t limit your creativity or compatibility within this app!
The app doesn’t give you any information on what to do and it would not play any sounds.also you have to pay for everything except the basic piano.
This app is excactly what I needed when I wanted to make music for a YouTube video. I would highly recommend this app, but the same time, if you want multiple options of different instruments then it’s like Pay to Win.
This app is amazing for music creation and has many instruments to choose from. I was just looking for a good music creation app until I saw Auxy Studio. It was free and looked fun to use so I downloaded it and I didn’t regret it at all. 5 stars. Would recommend.
I have used this app for about a year and it is the most amazing thing for me! There are so many choices (If you have premium) and I have managed to make 55 songs on here all between 1m 30s to 3m 30s. Auxy is a 10/10 app for anyone looking to make music. Thanks for being amazing!
